So you have just experienced the wonders of recently having a child or you are on your way to a christening in the near future. The really hard thing is actually buying a gift for the baby as baby’s really don’t want much other than lots of milk and lot more sleep.

You could of course look around for some baby clothing. There are literally thousands of clothes out there to choose from and sometimes what’s best to choose is something that mom or dad might find a bit on the funny side.

Then again you can also get something that the parents can keep to show the child when they are a bit more matured. This can be something like a cuddly toy or a baby blanket, the parents will appreciate anything you get for the child so do not worry about going wrong.

There is another option as well and that is to buy the baby a bit of jewellery. Now obviously the child couldn’t possibly wear it at this stage of its life but the main purpose of doing this is for keepsake reason and when the child is a lot older they can look back at the silver jewellery that they received  and even think about putting it into a cabinet, that is of course if the parents haven’t already scooped it all up as their own little something to remember the days where the child was young.

Now obviously Celtic jewellery or one of those jewellery gift sets wouldn’t be suitable here but perhaps a small little something just to wish the child luck in life. It is things like this that really help the christening be a special day for everyone involved especially the parents and godparents as well as other close relatives. As well as this, by receiving things like this on a christening it is great for when the child is older and wanting to look back on the life they arent too sure on.
